Snack Aid works with many children's charities in the UK including the very popular charity Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.
We have been in the retail business since 1995 and entered the Cause related marketing business in 2010, originally under the trading name My Snack Charity.
Our small beginnings in this field started by working with the Milton Keynes Hospital by helping to raise funds for its Little Lives Appeal. We created fundraising snack boxes containing sweets and snacks and placed them throughout the local area. The boxes were branded with the charities logo and information about it. This proved to be very successful for the hospital especially in raising its profile among the locals, many of whom were not aware of its existence. The hospital continues to be very grateful for our professional service and, by way of feedback to other charities, is playing a part in helping grow Snack Aid, something we are very grateful for.
In June 2012 we decided to incorporate the company, creating Snack Aid Limited, and invested in setting up a franchise company. This was finalised in January 2013 when we started to advertise our fanchise package.
In July 2013 we signed exclusive contracts with Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, which is probably the most popular and well known children's charity in the UK. We now exclusively represent the charity on a national basis with our snack boxes.
